Funny signs from around the world - Part 9

Hi All,

I saw the sign below on a walk I did the other day.

I'm sure the people who own the vehicle do an excellent job with home repair, and the other things they do.

However, note the name of the company 'Jim Will Fix It'. I guess the designers of the sign never heard of the show in the UK and the re-percussions from it.

Anyways, that aside, it is quite an inventive name, and I'm sure it brings in the clients.

Thanks for reading.

Funny signs from around the world - Part 8

Hi All,

I understand that some animals are more intelligent than others, but really asking them to close the gate is a bit much.

It goes to show that a bit of punctuation never goes amiss. Until next time..........

Funny signs from around the world - Part 7

Hi All,

I should mention that this is post 7 in a 15 part series of signs from around the world. Once I get to 15. I think all the posts will be put together in a separate page on the blog. You'll be able to see this from the links on the right.

This particular sign was actually taken by my father, when he was on his travels. I think he was in the USA when he took this particular picture.

I'm not sure how you'd ever have a tandem that was over 100 feet long, but it seems that in America they do things bigger than anywhere else!

Thank you for reading. Until next time.

Funny signs from around the world - Part 6

Hi All,

Here is a lovely little picture I took while on my travels in the UK.

Yes, it appears to be a boomerang duck. I guess that it is a warning for ducks crossing, and also for a bend. Just seems a bit funny to me.

Funny signs from around the world - Part 5

Hi All,

This sign was taken from an old quarry in the UK. It refers to a lorry and the bed (body) of the lorry being raised in order to deposit sand or gravel.

It isn't too difficult to imagine the sign meaning something else.

Funny signs from around the world - Part 4

Hi All,

This is the fourth post in the 'funny posts from around the world' series.

This sign was seen in a field near Arundel. I'm sure you have all heard of warning triangles. The one below is from www.clker.com.

However, I'm not sure many of you will have heard of the next sign. Please see below:

Yes, you see that right. Instead of a warning triangle. How about having a warning sheep instead? Not something I have seen before!
